BetAnySports Total Line: 47.5

Oakland at Kansas City Game Preview
Oakland’s current straight-up winning streak reached six games with Sunday’s come-from-behind 38-24 victory at home against Buffalo as a three-point favorite with BetAnySports. The Raiders have gone 5-1 against the spread during this run and the total has gone OVER in all six games. They are 10-2 SU on the year with an 8-4 mark ATS that includes five-straight covers on the road. Oakland is 3-1 ATS this season when closing as an underdog.
Despite this incredible run, the Raiders will fall out of first place in the AFC West with a loss on Thursday night given an earlier 26-10 setback against the Chiefs on Oct. 16 as two-point underdogs at home. Quarterback Derek Carr played one of his worst games of the year in that loss and it was just the second time all season that Oakland was held to fewer than 27 points.
The Chiefs needed a late safety on a failed extra point to get past Atlanta on Sunday in a tight 29-28 win as 4.5-point road underdogs. They are now 9-3 SU with a 6-6 record ATS. The total went OVER 50 points in that game after staying UNDER in eight of their first 11 contests. Kansas City is just 1-4 ATS at home this season and it is 3-4 ATS when closing as a favorite with BetAnySports.
Alex Smith turned in a solid performance throwing the ball against the Falcons by completing 21-of-25 attempts for 270 yards and a score. In that first meeting this season against the Raiders he threw for 224 yards while connecting of 19 of his 22 passing attempts. Running back Spencer Ware was the big story in that game with 131 yards rushing on 24 carries. The Chiefs’ defense did its part by holding Oakland to 285 yards of total offense.
Oakland at Kansas City Free Game Pick
Kansas City may have gotten the best of things in the first meeting this season, but I like Oakland’s chances to turn the tables on its bitter rival this Thursday night with the SU win on the road under the prime time lights at Arrowhead.
